About

Pixel Compass started as a group chat between three friends who kept swapping screenshots of games they were stuck on. At some point we figured the notes were good enough to share, so we put them somewhere public. That somewhere became this site.,We review mobile RPGs, adventures, strategy titles and the odd relaxing arcade game. The rule is simple: we don't write about anything we haven't actually installed and played for a few sessions. If a game falls apart after the tutorial, we say so.,Games get picked for the catalogue when at least two of us are willing to sink real time into them. We rotate genres on purpose so the site doesn't turn into an endless list of the same thing. Reader suggestions matter — a lot of what we cover came from someone dropping a name in our inbox.,Nobody here gets paid by a studio to be nice. The opinions are ours, sometimes we disagree in the comments of our own drafts, and we leave that messiness in on purpose.

Lukas Brandt — Lukas has been reviewing mobile games since the early Android days and still keeps three phones charged just to test frame rates. He handles most of the RPG deep-dives.
